Dr.  Larvein Harverty

A Board Certified Coach, offers executive counselling, leadership training, and team-building services. He works with corporate executives and company owners, drawing on two decades of expertise and a profound grasp of people and organisational dynamics. Dr. Harverty has worked with hundreds of business leaders.

He recognizes that the client is the expert on their own life and goals. Therefore, mindset Coaching involves asking deliberate questions and offering feedback (not direction) to help clients set their own goals and come to conclusions; it is developmentally focused.

Most of Dr. Harverty's work is assessment-based, utilizing both self-report and 360-degree feedback. Feedback — quantitative or qualitative — is generally the most powerful mechanism for helping leaders understand their impact on others.

Unique Qualifications

Dr. Harverty has Ph.D. in Communication and human sociology from Central Texas College. While stationed in Texas, He began mentoring a small group of ex-military officers. With his experience. He spent almost ten years as a coaching talent manager–selecting, developing, and managing executive coaches for the Center of Creative Leadership (CCL) and its network associate in Nevada, the Leadership Development Institute (LDI) at Eckerd College. He is qualified and certified on numerous leadership assessments, including CCL’s suite of 360-degree assessments and multiple self-report instruments such as the MBTI, FIRO-B, EQi, and WorkPlace Big Five Profile well as the self-report and 360-degree versions of the Conflict Dynamics Profile (CDP).

 Dr. Harverty is particularly interested in helping individual leaders, corporate managers and prospective entrepreneurs understand their unique strengths in entrepreneurial thinking and behavior. The Entrepreneurial Mindset Profileâ„¢(EMP) is a cutting-edge assessment tool based on extensive research into the traits, motivations and skills of entrepreneurs. Available in multiple formats, the EMP can help individual contributors and leaders, entrepreneurs, and students of entrepreneurship assess the degree to which they are utilizing an entrepreneurial mindset.
